
The 24th Arab Conference on Hospital Management Discusses Modern Approaches and the Role of Private and Third Sectors in Strengthening Health Systems
Under the patronage of Mouwasat Medical Services Company, the 24th Arab Conference on Hospital Management was held from December 10 to 11, 2025, at Sheraton Muscat Hotel, under the theme:
"Modern Approaches in Hospital Management: The Role of Private and Third Sectors in Strengthening Health Systems," and under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal Al Sabti, Minister of Health of the Sultanate of Oman.
The conference witnessed broad participation from Arab and international entities, including the WHO Regional Office, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, and leading academic and medical institutions, most notably Imperial College London.
The event brought together a distinguished group of experts and specialists in hospital management, health systems, and insurance companies. Discussions focused on the latest administrative and technological methods to improve healthcare quality and the role of the private and third sectors in supporting the development of Arab health systems. Sessions also highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships among various sectors to enhance operational efficiency and achieve sustainability in healthcare institutions.
Participants emphasized that keeping pace with modern developments in hospital management has become an urgent necessity to address global health challenges and strengthen the capabilities of Arab health systems. They also stressed the importance of investing in digital transformation, developing human resources, and adopting international best practices.
