A patient recovered after a year's stay on a ventilator in Al Mouwasat Al Khobar.
Thanks to God for his success, the medical team at Al-Mouwasat Hospital in Al-Khobar was able, with the help of a 28-year-old patient, to recover from a severe stroke due to a large clot in the brain stem that led to complete paralysis of the muscles of the body and limbs and severe failure to breathe, as she was placed on a respirator to save her life.
Despite the knowledge that it is difficult to heal such cases, but as a result of the solidarity and cooperation of doctors and nursing at the highest level, led by the intensive care team and the neurology team with physical therapy and respiratory therapy for a year, with no loss of hope and determination in recovery, there was a remarkable improvement in her condition, as the patient regained a degree she became fully conscious with a noticeable improvement in muscle movement, normal breathing and self-reliance, as she was discharged from the hospital to resume her normal life.
