The patient came to the urology clinic at Al-Mouwasat Hospital in Dammam suffering from an active tumor in the adrenal gland (suprarenal) in the left kidney. This was after he was presented to several medical authorities in more than one hospital, which did not diagnose and treat this rare condition, and it was recommended. His case was presented to one of the advanced centers in this field, because this type of tumor secretes hormones that lead to a severe increase in blood pressure.
When the patient visited the Urology Department at Al-Mouwasat Hospital in Dammam, the medical team, under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Talib, Urology Consultant, studied the patient’s condition and completed all the tests required for the surgery.
A laparoscopic microsurgery was performed and the entire enlarged gland was removed with complete preservation of the kidney.
