Ending the suffering of a patient from stiff knees that lasted 12 years
With God's grace and success, the medical team at the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Al-Mouwasat Hospital in Riyadh was able to restore hope to a patient who was suffering from pain and stiffness in the knees with difficulty in bending them, which forced him to pray while sitting on a chair for the past 12 years.
The patient came to the clinic of Dr. Abdel Fattah Nassar, a rheumatology and rehabilitation consultant, and after examining him and doing the necessary x-rays, it became clear that he was suffering from inflammation of the quadriceps tendons, with shortening of some other muscles, which made him lose his ability to bend the knees normally.
Dr. Nassar and his assistant team developed a treatment plan that included the use of physical means and directed and gradual therapeutic exercises with a number of physiotherapy sessions.
Thanks to God, the patient's condition gradually improved until he reached his full ability to move and bend his knee naturally without pain and practiced his life normally.
It is worth noting that this type of treatment depends on modern medical technologies, which are in line with the vision of Al-Mouwasat Medical Services Company in attracting competencies and accurate sub-specialties through the use of the latest technologies and advanced medical equipment in this field.
