Qualifications:
- SENIOR Registrar SPECIALIST OBSTETRIC GYNACOLOGY
- National Diploma of Doctor in Medicine.
- DOCTORATE DEGREE IN OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY
- COMPLEMENTARY STUDIES IN ULTRASONOGRAPHY
Cases to be seen:
- Pregnant women for ante natal care.
- ante natal care of high risk pregnancy.
- IUCD insertion.
- Normal vaginal delivery with episiotomy.
- Dilation and curettage.
- IUCD removal.
- Counselling and family planning.
- Post-partum care.
- Management of infection of female genital tract.
- Screen tests for tumor { breasts -cervix }.
- Diagnosis of prolapse.
- Hysterosalpingography.
- insertion and removal of implanan.
- Antenatal care for low and high risk pregnancies, including cervical cerclage , normal and cesarean deliveries and instrumental vaginal deliveries: vacuum and forceps.
- Colposcopy + cervical biopsy.
- Gynecologic diseases including menstrual disorders, polycystic ovaries , uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic organ prolapse ,management of infertility,
- All contraception methods: IUD, IMPLANT.
- laparoscopic and open laparotomy procedures: . Hysterectomy. . Ovarian cystectomy. . Myomectomy. . Tubal surgery.
- Anterior and posterior repair.
- Hysteroscopic procedures: . Polypectomy. . Myomectomy. . Endometrial ablation.
