Mouwasat is using a comprehensive pricing strategy for all its medical entities based on the following aspects.

• All price list are approved by the Ministry of Health as per their rules and regulations

• Since 1994, a general itemised price list for the main Mouwasat Hospitals and Centers has been maintained. These prices are considered as gross prices and fixed in the automated system for all cash payees. The approved price lists are distributed to all Mouwasat Clients

Mouwasat started package deal price in 1997 for the most common surgical procedures and deliveries (normal and caesarean section). The package deal price will be applied when the patient is admitted for any surgical procedure that comes under a package deal. The following are some of our package deal programmes:

• Pre employment screening

• Pre school screening

• Well women and men programme

Package deal exclusion:

• Any test or procedure outside Mouwasat Hospitals and Centers

• Costly medications

• Implants

• Rooms other than semi private
